Description
We've been having a VERY hot summer here in southern Oregon - many, many 100 degree days with brief respites in the 80's & 90's - & I thought this shot I took from my front door in the late afternoon one stormy day (with a little postwork for added effect) conveyed that feeling of heat. In addition, we've been experiencing very smoky skies from a fire up north the last few days, which has further reduced the amount of time we get to spend outdoors...

Cool image, makes you feel the heat! The same here: when you go out of the house it feels like you get hit by a velvet hammer ...8=)
Horrific! Your photo shows it so well.
I can feel the oppressive heat just looking at this! I can't stand to be outdoors when it's 80F or 85F, let alone 90 to 100. Yikes!
With my past experiences in a similar neighborhood in Kansas...I too can feel the humidity and heat. Well done. Hooray for air conditioning.
Very cool capture know what you're talking about
What a strong statement you created! I hope you get a break from the heat soon.
Yikes, that looks like hell on earth; but at least you got a storm, we haven't even had any of that. A few passing showers, then back to the heat again. I hope we're not going to be looking like David Bowie's home world in "Man who fell to earth"...
