Testing out my new Olympus E PL5 micro 4/3 - my replacement camera after my Fuji X-20 got stolen when my luggage got tossed at Vancouver International Airport.
A bit of karma because the Olympus is one super hot little camera - all the controls of a full digital SLR with RAW in a package not a lot bigger than a deck of playing cards. Changeable lens too.
A feature I love for street photography is the screen pulls out so you can hold the camera at waist level and you can see the screen and got full control. Awesome. This is goona be my travel buddy!
Took a bunch of shots in a local public library and nobody knew what I was doing - except some other photographers who were with me attending a seminar!

I like this shot... I'm never sure of what appeals to me in certain photos, but this is certainly one that grabs my attention.
I suspect it is the strong leading lines that take you right to her coupled with the fact that she is partly hidden which adds a bit of mystery. The grainy gray scale gives it a film look while removing some distractions. JMHO
I agree with barryjeffer, is an eye catcher!
Very good concept and photo !!!!!
Wow Roxie, I'm so glad to hear you got such a cool new camera to replace the one that was stolen.
This is outstanding! I like how the eyes are forced to look at her and the mind to guess
Very nice shot. Sorry you lost your camera!
Sounds like that camera can make for some very cool candid shots, such as this. Excellent.
Nice candid shot
A cool candid, Roxy - Sounds like you've found a cool new camera! Too bad the other one was stolen, though. Looks like the young lady is really absorbed in her books.
Wow, sounds like your new camera has some great features. I really love how the lines of the bookcase lead the eye here. A perfect candid shot, Roxy!
Excellent mood shot
Sorry to hear about your other camera, but this looks like it takes just a good picture... or is that the user. LOL Well done... and remember.. things happen for a reason.. just if you don't know what it is. LOL
Nice candid shot. I like the way the bookcase perspective lines point to the subject. Nice.
it's a very lovely and cosy atmo and POV in the image. Well done!
sad to hear that your cam was stolen ;o( this capture has something special and the title fits perfect! ;o)
