It struck me because I can really relate with the subject as there is ailment in my family that I'm taking advantage of to reconnect with loved ones, people are much more open when our mortality is in question, so thanx for this image and message :) and as always wonderful work!

This is an artistic and emotive tour-de-force, Roxy. It is so powerful that it must have come from some deep personal pain. If so, then I hope that this creative process helped you to crystallize and cope with that pain. I confess that the first and second time I saw this image I was too moved to comment. On its own this image is outstanding, even for you. It has your trademark clarity, lighting, posing, expression, detailed background full of symbols, powerful integrated narrative, and of course superb post-work. But it is the emotive content that takes this image to the next level.
I understand why I am on the 4th page for what is a true piece of art the work in this is both controlled and complete the cool tones and the postwork make this a standout! bravo
