Description
Networthy spent much time giving me lessons in lighting. I hope you see some progress my friend.
Ishtar prepares to do battle with her sister Ereshkigal. No one has ever entered the Underworld and returned, but Ishtar is determined to recover her lover, the harvest deity, to the land of the living. Ereshkigal is equally determined to keep order in her domain.
“Tammuz, for you I have passed through the Seven Gates of Darkness. For you I will fight my sister and free you from this land of death. You will return with me to the land of the living and together we will once again breathe life into the world.”

Roxy, this is wonderful! Thanks so much for the wonderful words. And YES, I DO see tremendous progress with your lighting - you are a very quick study indeed LOL! All of your characters have strong features and I'm glad you're showcasing them! Good job!

Great work Hun and yes the light is great!
Wow, Roxi, very impressive portrait! Great character and expression and lightning is also great! Five stars from me!
Beautiful character and expression!! fantastic render!!
Impressive.....!!!!
Very good face expression. 5+
Very nice work...Excellent!
Super scene Roxi. The lighting is looking good. Sounds like this is going to be a real adventure :) Don
Well lighting is sorted- courtesy of your friend Networthy! If I were being super finicky I would have taken the sword into another layer and given it a hint of extra flare and a screen blend, but that's entirely un-necessary. Ths image stands up really well as a super portrait and heroine adventure!
Excellent work ... superb lighting.
Superb render and composition Roxy... your lighting is excellent and really adds realism to the character ..well done!!!
Yep.. your lighting is great in this... and I agree with Networthy... the heart of your characters is in their emotive expressions. Nicely done on this
you seem to have a great talent for expressions, very well done. lighting and scene are killer. lol steve
very nice ....
Great close-up portrait. Your characters are always very strong and deserve to be showcased as such. The lighting is really good as well, although, in my opininon, there is something a little off in the shadows and lights underneath her chin. I'm guessing you have a light shining from below? Anyway, it's a minor detail in a great picture. Well done!
You did EXT work! Very well done!
Cool Xpression...!!
Yes, your ever-increasing skills with lighting are evident here. In fact, one can clearly see the progression from image to image. I totally agree with kitzie21's comment. It's wonderful to see these characters portrayed with such strength and passion, and in context.
