This mix of faces and people is set in a beautiful flowered frame...or as if you placed a facial montage into a bouquet of flowering plants. It has an art nouveau feeling, almost. It's beautiful, especially with the greenish hues (a blue-ish green) throughout. Nice contrast with the quiet purples.
The faces move in and out of each other. And you have some of that early modern picasso-esque combination of frontal pose with side pose (or profile). It also feels like a collection of masks---like theater masks, masks for performance or maybe a ball (gemaskerd bal? maskeradebal?). You've woven them all into a wall-piece with florals and lots of imaginative creatures crawling around it---including some very elegant butterflies and I think even a spider! Beautiful piece, and I love that blue-tinged green!
