Fascinating how one shape is changing and flowing into another. I've always been fascinated by fractals since ages. But what you can do with this Apophysis software is simply amazing.

Believe me, I wanted to comment on this as soon as I saw it (a little under a week ago)---because you placed this amazing fracal on Lake Michigan! I just wasn't able to leave a good comment at that time. It was wonderful that you included my beloved lake in one of your fractals. And this fractal looks like it got caught in one of the lake's "waves". It's having a good time, I'm pretty sure.

Some of your fractals have "centers"---nuclei (kernen?) And a lot of the fractal's energies come throbbing out of those kernen. Here you have a big center, with several smaller centers inside. Like 4 or 5 fractal-neighbors ran into each other on the street, and hugged and started a long intense conversation.

And---in your usual fashion---all kinds of energies and pulsing strands and membranes come out of this center: They come out in waves. And they're always so organic. Then you've highlighted this big fractal creature (or meeting of several creatures) with metallic hues---almost like tarnished copper or bronze. Beautiful green silvery highlights. And you have those membranes, those clear "sheets" of transparent fractal-matter, fanning ouf from the fractal---especially on the right. And spindly strings and antennae all around it. This would easily make a great marine creature, something that lives in or around lakes or oceans. And the muted background sets it off like a jewel on a quiet desktop. Beautiful work once more, jacomina. Ditto shadelix (right above me): "What you can do with this Apophysis software is simply amazing." (I don't know if you used apophysis, but whatever you used, bravo, bravo, bravo.) (Should I say, "encore"?)

Thank you so much, my friend! How wonderful you describe it Mark, I really enjoy the ideas about chattering and hugging fractals on the street. Your lake I used as a kind of joke, but also because I appreciate you so much. You are so richly blessed with words, Mark. I love it.

The waves in the fractal are peanuts compared to your spectacular photos of your beloved lake. And the advantage for me is that I didn't get soaking wet with this creation. ;-) This time I used an FE fractal as a background, plus that creation in Apophysis.

I know I'm very late with my reactions, due to some unpleasant events, which have had an impact on my health and that of Karel. Lol, that's why I'm even slower now than before, but it will be fine.

I'm sorry I haven't been able to read your story about the music teacher yet, I look forward to doing so soon, Mark.

I very much hope that your pain in the meantime is a lot less.
