Description
"Professor Van Humbeek spoke with Grace and she'll let you see her on Halloween if you like," Ella told her two children.
"I've seen old pictures of her in the library from back when she was alive," Becci said. "She was beautiful!"
"Halloween with a real ghost? Sweet!" Berto added.
On the big evening, the trio arrived at Okkulte House, Grace's home, at sunset. "Trick or Treat!" the children shouted.
The door opened and Grace materialized laughing, spot lit by the children's flashlights. "So... am I a trick or a treat?"
Molly's art notes: Didn't quite finish it in time for Halloween but thought I'd share it anyway. Set up and rendered with Poser 12.0.1029 and tweaked in Photoshop. Ella and Grace are both based on the La Femme mesh and the children are both based on V4. The setting is by Blue Tree Studios.

excellent ghost and light! I like how her face in the flashlight looks clearer than her transparent body... nice job. the lit pumpkin and lights in the house all look so real. well done, Molly! it's never too late to see any art by you.

Thanks, Amy. I'm still working out how much the kids might figure into my main story about Grace and the Professor or if they just will get intermittent "one off" pictures like this. My sense of Grace's presence is that she can appear to anyone but it costs her effort and energy. Some people are sensitives that she can barely hide from having to expend energy to be invisible. Professor Van Humbeek is not really a sensitive but has a rapport with Grace that makes it effortless to appear to her. Grace's decision to appear to the children is a gift of effort and energy to her incarnate friends.
I do go on, sometimes. XD

Thank you, Joe. I struggle with "sweet and cute" but thought I could maybe take some of my characters that way here. Experimenting with characters who are children is really a new area for me. =)
