Artwork of characters for my series, _Lenny and Lola._
This is Rayne and Ellis and Jack.
Rayne is mentioned briefly in the first book by their online handle, "Noble Savage." In the story, Noble Savage is taking an extended leave of absence from the guild. They'll return to the story in a later volume. She plays a "Hunter" class in the MMO the group plays.
Now, the reason they are taking a leave of absence is for a series of surgeries. And when they return, "they" will then identify as "she."
Now, I played around with the transgender morphs from the Daz store. The base model is Tara 2 for Victoria 8. I'm a little nervous about it. I can only hope that I'm not offending anyone with my representation of this character. And with that said...
Well, I like Rayne. They/She is a fun character and I can't wait until they come back into the story. I've got the whole scene in my head. Her surprise appearance at the convention the guild attends, everything. But... I don't think that will be the NEXT book in the series. Maybe not even the one after that. So I HAVE TO RENDER HER ANYWAY! (mwahahaha!) Honestly, I also did a portrait of Joan and I have no idea when she'll show up in the story. I just... love these characters!
On to Ellis. She didn't exist before last night, and already fits right in. I have no real clue if her and Rayne are a couple or just friends, but I know they go to the convention together. Ellis needs a service dog, but I'm not sure why exactly. In the MMO everyone plays, she plays a Chaos Witch, and I'm pretty sure she loves Rayne so for now that's all I need. They're cure together. I swear, this cast keeps getting bigger every time I think about it. Really turning into a challenge wrangling all the characters. Especially since even those that don't get a lot of "screen time" still need full backstories, and to develop along their own arcs even if you don't see it.
To that end, I'm actually starting book 2 of the series later today. I got the new cover rendered for book one, and by the end of the week I'll have that updated on Amazon so if you're the type who like the idea of owning a "rare" book, now's would be a great time to pick it up. I've sold exactly 3 copies of it in a whole year, and I bought all three of them. (lol.) Seriously though, please consider buying a book. And if you want it signed, PM me. I'd be happy to send an address and sign it for ya.
Lenny and Lola is the SEVENTH book I've released through Amazon, so if you like it and want to read more, well, I think I got you covered until the next Lenny and Lola adventure comes out. Unless you read them all in a week. In which case... well, just stayed tuned on my Facebook page for news on when the next one releases.

Thanks! With the addition of Ellis and Jack, if I ever do a full group portrait its going to be a bear just finding room for everybody, let alone working out the sequence of layers to render it in. But... I'm glad Rayne has somebody to be sweet on.
