Description
Für dich lieber Michael!
Theo, we're going to Łódź.
Get up, you lazy marmot,
Before I lose my patience.
Theo, we're going to Łódź.
Theo, we're going to Łódź.
Theo, we're going to Łódź.
I'm sick of this country air,
I want to finally go back to the city.
Theo, we're going to Łódź.
God forsaken village, just hay and bog.
Always at the same trot, just giddy-up and to the right.
In the stall the cows moo,
While the cocks crow to it.
No one can put up with that, I want out.
Theo, we're going to Łódź.
Theo, we're going to Łódź.
There we'll grab luck by the scruff of the neck
and spend away. Theo, we're going to Łódź.
This damned nest is finishing me off.
I feel too young for muck and dung –
I need music and dance and a touch of elegance.
Kick yourself into action and then we're off.
Theo, we're going to Łódź.
Theo, we're going to Łódź.
There we'll have a great celebration,
that will let us forget the world.
Theo, we're going to Łódź.
There I can live, there I am free –
and there there is love too.
Theo, we're going to Łódź.
Theo, we're going to Łódź.
Come with me, the horses are waiting,
Climb in and be my postillion,
Theo, we're going to Łódź.
Many thank's to you for spending your precious time for another little smile, I wish you all a nice evening!!
PS. Tomorrow morning I gonna have a cortison injection in my upper left arm and now I need a rest!

This is just too fabulously marvelous for words. It made my week.
A lovely artwork and a fun bit of prose here... In a way I know how she feels... I feel kinda the same about where we're living... Gotta get out of here someday....
Sing it everyday: "I wanna get out of this Place" and after a while (trust me) it will really happen"! 👌
Well done! This fits the song well. She's pretty and young and she should see the world
Good luck with the injection! Feel better, soon.

The words are so amusing!! Farm work is hard work, but it's also very satisfying...but not if you are pretty and young! hehe!
This certainly brightened my day, reminiscent of many of Yves' musical story art creations... a perfect addition to Summer in this part of the world.
Be well and enjoy your gifts of art.
