Having a look at developments at the theater, we may be viewing a fiasco in progress. It is Scotty’s production of Mafia in Miami. The stage contains an eclectic mishmash of scenery, supposedly an art deco impression of the Miami skyline all sort of dumped on the stage. Staring at it is Kamila, a young stage designer who Scotty has hired to turn it into a stage set and also act as stage manager to manage an incomprehensible plat written with no consideration for the practicality of stage blocking.
