Onder weer en wind
onderhevig aan seizoenen
gebogen zonder bloemen
gedroogd zonder tranen
vol rimpels die tanen.
Of course underneath is no good English, but just to give you an idea from the little Dutch poem:
Stooped
Under wind and weather
subject to seasons
bent without flowers
dried without tears
fade full of wrinkles.
On my way I spotted this leaf of a wild Teasel.

Great pic! I am trying to eradicate them from my garden as my skin gets ripped if I go too close! I planted them for Goldfinches but they prefer the feeders.
