yes, this does look like a mask (Andrea). Though, to me, it's not a Halloween mask, but a ceremonial mask. You combined fractals beautifully; and if the marigold was a photo, you blended it into the fractal beautiful. If it's not a photo, you blended it in beautifully, all the same. You have a 'canvas' texture behind this. And you use oranges and yellows very effectively against all those whites. I can see the butterfly beautifully. A beautiful fractal painting. Quite beautiful.
I see a bunny's face, ears, eyes and nose !
The colors, lighting and details are amazing, super well done.
