Another beauty I spotted in that little garden, hanging on a Phlox flower: The Black-veined White.
Latin name: Aporia crataegi. A large butterfly of the family Pieridae.
Dutch name: Groot geaderd Witje.

Cool butterfly, looks close to the glass variety
Sadly this disappeared from the Uk in the 1920's. We don't have that gorgeous Admiral here either., so thankyou for the great pics!

The beautiful soft purple background, really helps bring out the delicate hairs, black lines and dots on the soft paper-like wings.

I hate skipping images, but I'm almost at a full hour, and I so want to get a good sampling. This is gorgeous, especially full-view. (I hope everyone is zooming your images!) The butterfly is so green---a light, pale green. And his wings seem almost like stained glass. You caught the hairs on its body beautifully. As you did, the barbs on his legs, and the light-colored tips of his antennae. In addition, his wings make the most delicate contrast with all that pink behind him: The pink is a wonderful background. Beautiful work, Jacomina, one of your most delicate butterfly shots, of the many beautiful shots you've posted lately.
