Description
Here you will see me on the barefoot path, climbing up on smooth stones. It was heavy, climbing more than 3 kilometres across stones and wooden poles, crossing back and forth waving bridges over a ravine, stairs up, stairs downwards; thereby, the "normal paths" were all with sharp pieces of wood.
Yes, afterwards I was pretty proud of myself. If you think I have (because of the PTSD) severe equilibrium disturbances, and so many cramps as constant all kinds of vigorous movements all through my body, then this is a big achievement. WOW! :D
Karel was smart, he had put his shoes in a bag with him. I think after 500 meter, for him no bare feet.
Below is a video of this parcour. Don't know if I put it right, but it's nice to watch. ("yes, it works")

Anyway, a lot of fun.
And thank you very much.
Another note: The tunic that I wear is from Australia, got it from my dear friend Brigitte (BB * -chen, do you recognize?) ♥♥♥

What a lovely photo of you! And what a great place to visit! I love the idea of the barefoot path and connecting to nature through bare feet on the ground. It is quite an achievement to have done it. I will save the link because it looks like a place I would like to visit also. :)

I could not make it bare footed. I use hiking half boots to walk every where. kudos to you!
great video
Even before I read your dialogue under this intriguing photo, did I recognize the top you are wearing immediately, thank you Jacominchen, for wearing it, I am very happy about that, and that you like it enough to do so... BTW - I have watched the video and learned a lot about those 'physical acrobatics' - and that is right up my alley - I would have come and done it with you, 3 ks sounds just right... and I am proud of you for mastering such a milestone, quite a feat, I take my hat off to your achievement... BRAVO !!!
I watched the video, and this looks like a fun thing to do! I'm impressed at your tenacity! :)

I assume Karel took this photograph? I saw the video when you posted this, and it looks like a major adventure to walk over all those rocks and stairways, and by all those poles. I would think barefoot was the right way to do it---but I can understand that Karel's feet would be tired and callused after doing this. It's a beautiful photo, with the trees on one side, and open space on the other. And you look like you're walking very carefully. I can imagine that you have to be careful (due to your PTSD), but you'd also have to be careful even if you didn't have PTSD; so you have to be doubly careful. Today---at my age---I would probably walk 'around' the stream rather than in it. A delightful shot, and Brigitte's blouse truly looks like something Brigitte would give you: It has her spirit in it, and it also looks wonderful on you. Maybe that's a fractal on it? (I know, it isn't, but it almost looks like one.) Delightful shot.
(Btw, Jacomina: If I haven't said it recently, I really appreciate your comments. I know it's not easy for you to comment, but you always give your full heart and soul when you do; and I appreciate how caringly you comment, and how perceptively too. Don't worry about absences---I'm absent a lot too---it's fine that you only comment when you can. I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate it, whenever you do.)
