Hi dear friends,
It was last Sunday that I saw in the corner of my eyes suddenly something bright blue overshoot in the air. I couldn't believe my eyes!
Ha, ha, I wanted to say to Karel what I saw, but I just didn't come on the name of this beautiful creature.
On that day, all ponds were frozen, so there it was, a small but hungry little bird, very high in the tree.
Actually completely hidden between all tangle of branches, so I had to zoom as far as possible with my camera zoom.
But here it is, nice, or not? :D

Kingfishers are always so colourful, a nice 'catch' Jacominchen, that was very lucky... we have also got them here, where I live ! just check out the long beak, that is for catching fish, when swooping or diving into the waters... BB

Really, it almost looks like a print: The way the bird is surrounded by those beautiful branches---it looks like a delicate print. The contrast of the branches with the bird is wonderful. And the branches---closeup---are really strange, new objects. With furry "caps". Wonderful zoom-photo, Jacomina. Heavy camera zoom is always hard to work with, but you got a print here, with beautiful contrasts and bright hues. I hope all your fans zoom this, themselves: It has so much life, full size.
And don't worry about missing images, or not commenting all the time: Everyone knows you're struggling with pain and discomfort. As far as my writing goes, I understand that my writing's hard to read even for people who read a lot. So I fully understand your not reading it...(I hope you're ok with my comments...)
(Btw: if you want to see some of my music-handwriting, I posted a silly upload with music handwriting. It's from years ago: I drew cartoons all over music scores. If you just glance at it, you'll see that the bottom score is Bach's beautiful chorale prelude, O Mensch, bewein dein Sünde groß, which I'm sure Karel knows. Don't be offended by the cartoons, lol: They're just me "messing around," years back.) (I copied many of the organ chorale preludes, by hand, because it gets you to hear every note.
