Description
A pair of Canada Geese, near our home, had 9 goslings. They were spread out when I got there and Mom and Dad were trying to get them all grouped together. The best I could do was get a group of 7 and as you can see, Dad was hissing at me, because I was getting to close! They looked to be about a month old. It will zoom for best details.
Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments.
They are very much appreciated.
Dana

I wonder if they ever go to Canada? I am always seeing in the US where ever I go. great capture
We have tons of these around here - they're almost to a nuisance level. I had to stop a couple weeks ago to let a bunch of them cross the street at an office park. They didn't hurry to get out of the way, either. They just ambled across the street, a few even looking at me like "you got a problem, dude??" LOL Next they'll be carrying Iphones and ghetto blasters.... Cool shot, Dana. Glad "dad" didn't rush you.
They do give you the 'look' when they are blocking the road.
that's something you don't want: a pissed off goose, especially one protecting its young.... Great capture
A lovely photo, Dana. They are a pest in Poole Park, they need to go on the pill.
This is a lovely family pic Dana and great in zoom. He really is having a good gander at you.
An adorable capture of this beautiful family, I like a lot the attitude of the father who defends his family! Une photo adorable de cette jolie famille, j'aime beaucoup l'attitude du père qui défend sa famille!
They are getting big - did any follow you home :) Great capture they are really cute!!!
bien vu
I like the attitude of the dad, and this family is adorable, great capture, Dana !
Very very fine and well done shot !!
They grow so fast. I took another photo of the Swan family the other day. The swanlings are so much bigger now. Thanks for sharing the goose family with us.
That is brilliant Dana
They look relaxed as dad is keeping watch. My uncle had a farm & we used to visit, when we asked if we could go out & play, he would tell us he had better put the gander in first. Ganders can be terrors :o))) xxxx
lolll at least the Dad protect his lovely family :) Have a good day!
SWEEEEEEEEEET
great capture of the family, Dana..
fabulous capture
wonderful
They're so soft and fuzzy at this stage! Wonderful shot!
What a great shot, Dana! You were so lucky to see and photograph the whole family and I like the green surroundings as opposed to in the water. Lovely shot!
really lovely capture
Beautiful capture!
A big flock of them live on a lake in Milton Keynes they were a pest and made a mess every where.
I can hear the complaints now. "Awww, dad, you never let us have any fun!" Typical kids. A great find and super capture.
SUPER shot, Dana!! Reminds OLD T.P. of growing up with '9' KIDS in HIS family .... SMILES .... ROTL
Heartwarming scene of a loving family, set against a lovely backdrop of lush vegetation at that. Great capture!
