a lot of people love the Python reference, and it was a great film so I understand. But it's great to see a pic so vividly and unassumingly show the variety of subtle differences from window to window in a facade of "sameness". Slight variations from window to window...And, in your individuality theme, that one window with the purple and the lamp---it's the standout. It's almost like it was planted there to make its point. And you have fine detail all around it, captured with total clarity---bill liked that, so do I. (Well he liked the keystones, but it's the same thing.) What's so good about this is that you've pointed out the way a single variation brings a whole facade to light. And also made us think about variation in general. (I shared about this in private, but I have to say something about it here.) I hope it makes people think more about the phenomenon, ie of finding music in the simplest repetitions; you caught it so well. I think it's a beautiful shot, and provocative; and that one window is joyous in the midst of it all... (Ok, I looked for a Sempe New Yorker cover online, but couldn't find it! It had the same theme---a winter building facade, broken by one child smiling out one window, as christmas approaches. Too bad. It would've made a great link for your picture, because both 'exceptions' to the sameness are joyous...) (I'm speaking of Jean Jacque Sempe, the artist & cartoonist, on the chance you don't know the name well...)
