Description
This is the last of this raptor Golden October series, and will follow with some wild birds in similar light.. As promised this is the Gyr/Lanner hybrid one of my favourite birds at IBOP Newent I think the black and white pattern allows some excellent focus with my 1D series camera's..
I have been a member here for nearly 9 years and am considering making this my last year, as I feel it has come to a natural end, I am sure by now you are all fed up with so many birds.. And maybe I should move on to other things, and I find it difficult to spend so much time with my Wife's ill health..

Beau rapace, joli shot
Your bird series is spectacular! What patience you have to catch these beautiful shots of all these birds. I seldom have such success. The clarity of your shots is amazing! It would be ashame to have you leave, especially now that I've just found your gallery, :) But there are 9 years worth of photos to go through over time, and perhaps you will reconsider and post occasionally, which would take up far less time. No doubt you have volumes of images that have not been posted.
Hi Dan...a spectacular image. You are the master of these beauties. Hate to see you disappear. I second the thought above. Would love to see your gallery remain and you to come back once a month or maybe even once a year to post and for us to know a favorite friend is still doing well.
stunning bird and capture!
Danny - I completely agree with Bill and three_grrr. Although I understand your time is limited caring for your wife, we would really hate to completely lose a good friend. Do pop in from time to time and share your wonderful talent of which this image is a prime example!
Excellent shot Danny! You are very talented as a photographer..
Beautiful bird, beautiful shot!
Really a sensational photo Danny, I have enjoyed this series a lot.
Wonderful and elegant bird!!!
Never get tired of seeing your spectacular photos, Danny, of birds of whatever else you share with us. Your work is always superb and I also learn a lot about the animals. Hope you stick around but understand if you decide to leave. I've been a member for almost nine years now and so much has happened in that time. Grateful to have met so many wonderful and creative friends. Wishing you and your wife the best. CC
I never get fed up with your fantastic shots of these beauties. It gives me something to aspire to, and I love seeing these birds I'd never get to see otherwise. Your work is brilliant!
A beautiful bird and shot. I sure hate to think of you not being here. I always look forward to your photos. But I can understand your need to care for your wife. Maybe you can just post a shot every now and then as so many of us will miss you terribly!
Will be sorry to see you go your photography skills at capturing these birds and other things is first class, but family comes first always.. As has been said above should you decide to leave do leave your gallery up and pop in now and again to post and let us know how you are doing.. Sorry to hear your wife is not doing well and do hope she improves...
What a beautiful bird. Excellent shot!!
Beautifully done and I agree it would be a shame to see you go.
My friend I will be sad to see you leave here my friend. I understand though that you have to take care of a loved one. I agree with Bill maybe you could pop in once a month or year and that your gallery could remain here. I will keep an eye out on your website and facebook and would dearly love to keep contact with you my friend. Amazing capture my friend. God Bless.

What a wonderful pose and bird.....super details, your bird pictures are always super......it would be nice to see more of you skills then only birds.....my opinion....hope you don't mind......and about leaving.....sometimes people make choices what is the best......if I am honest RR is not the community anymore what it was in the beginning I speak for my own......and I have also a very busy life, and to me there are more important things than only spend my time behind the pc. I hope you will find other things to keep you busy...but the way I know you I guess you don't leave this community....hahaha
