Full Moon (The story Part IV)
Yes, there was something else -
a smell - a reminder -
the longing.
Now he knew he had no enemy in front of him.
He knew that she enchanted his heart.
Slowly and with long pauses, he went after her.
He could never reach her -
but she always waited for him.
So they came to a part of the forest -
beautiful - and unknown to him.
An old tree lay across the stream,
a challenge to his leg.
He gritted his teeth -
he was almost ready to slip -
but he did it.
A short bark -
why - what happened?
Her eyes showed him the direction.
There was the goal - a new cave.
Again she looked around - and disappeared.
Unable to follow her, he considered the environment.
A quiet area with shade and sunny spots
and fresh water.
He quenched his thirst greedily -
then he entered the cave.
A pleasant coolness greeted him -
a camp as made for him.
The entrance was slightly hidden and
the darkness in the cave was pleasant.
He stretched out and began to dream.
Late in the evening he heard her coming,
a gentle nudging her nose and a
friendly pinch on the neck.
No, he did not need to be afraid,
a breath - I am Onesche - then he fell asleep.
