A reprise of yesterday's Youko V4 character. This time with Petite Fleur hair (using a V4 fit) and a couple of pieces from Aery Soul's (AS) "Hear No Evil" outfit. I started in Poser 8 because the render engine seems sooooo much better. Guess my patience isn't what it used to be. After a couple abortive attempts to get the bodice and bustier to conform, I saved out a CR2 and opened it in DAZ Studio 3--after which things went without a hitch. I'm sure a Firefly render would be more nuanced. But if I'd stayed in Poser 8, I'd probably still be trying to get Youko's clothes to fit. Reconstructing the lighting kit I from yesterday's "Youko Know You" wasn't the nightmare I was anticipating. One IBL, a specular light (which, honestly, doesn't seem to do anything in DS), a Rim light and a second Rim parented to Youko's face. Five minutes tops to get the lighting right. Like yesterday, the pose is one of DMs--from the Seduction package this time. I'm sure there are other vendors who take pains with their poses, but DM and AS never seem to disappoint. Both take great care to get the figure balanced realistically--and to pose the hands gracefully and expressively.
