Description

"Mom... Dad... do we have to? It's bad enough you move us next to that creepy old cemetary... then you have HER watch us again! She always invites in her friends... she's... she's a MONSTER!" Kids- don't they always seem to exaggerate?
I entered this one in the Daz Halloween gallery contest - I didn't win anything though. (The entries that beat me out were VERY good!) This WAS fun to put together though - it is my first K4 render. I was away for awhile again, this time for a sad duty: to lay my mother to rest. Alzheimers claimed her personality and intellect some years ago, a week ago it quietly finished the job in her sleep. The family had in effect said our good byes some time ago, but it is still sad.

Yeah, they do exaggerate. But what'll get M&P upset is that she invited her (ghoul) friends over! That's it! She'll never sit those two again! :D Great scene!

I'm so sorry you had to go through losing your Mother TWICE. Very sad. I hope you believe as many do we will all see our loved ones when it's our time. I've got My Mother waiting on me two and many others - two many to count I'm afraid. Now that your Mother has passed on, the sickness is gone and maybe you feel her strong spirit around you. I feel my Mother from time to time. She passed in 2001 and in 2007 I stayed at her cabin I helped build for her 30 years ago - I was there 4 and a half months and would not trade that time period for anything. I really felt my Mom's presence and felt she was guiding me to take care of things around the cabin - I actually feel she in some way guided my life to go up there... we don't know what happens when we leave, so while were here, we need to keep our senses open to everything - you probably have already felt some type of communication. she's at peace now, and the load of worrying about her should feel gone and you should feel a sense of happiness for her. Sorry you did not place. contests are fun and help you get into the spirit. I entered in the Renderosity Urban Legends Contest - I haven't gotten any emails, so I'm feeling I didn't place either, kinda scared to check to see if they've posted the winners - today is the day they're supose to post and it's been today for 2.5 hours on Rendo time. Keep entering the contest, you're a great artist, great ideas, eventually someone will agree with that - you'll win. HAPPY HALLOWEEN, NOW GO SCARE SOMEBODY AND GIVE OUT SOME CANDY - LOL

I really like this. I bet it's all back to normal in the morning so that the kids wont be believed. Best wishes at this difficult time.

I'm so sorry for your loss - letting go of a loved one is never easy. I absolutely love this image. The details reflect the time and thought you put into this and the baby's expression is priceless! I love this, and, actually, I was that babysitter. :)
