Clint and Ridge zoomed back to the filling station to picked up Joey and bid another fond farewell to Harold and Greta Slater. They all were so relieved Clint got his Vette back and not too much the worse for wear from the experience. It could have so easily gone the other way. So, goodbye Harold and Greta. Perhaps we'll see you again some day. Thanks again for the fine hospitality you showed us! We can't thank you enough! It seems like no time at all on route 66 before our group arrives in Oklahoma City. Clint is good with directions and remembers how to get to Amanda's B&B. He hands Joey his cell phone and has him call Amanda's sons to let them know they are in town and will be there soon. As they pull into the driveway, they see two rather handsome young 'identical twins' come ambling out of the main house in their direction. The twins are a few years older than Nate and are his full brothers. Their other three half-brothers are from Amanda's first two marriages. Our travelers pull up to the front of the old mansion swinging around the huge oval driveway and come to a stop in front of two identical yellow Corvettes parked side-by-side. While the twins don't always dress exactly the same, they do have matching tastes for autos, (and, perhaps, men?) Both guys latch onto Cliff as soon as he gets out of the Vette and start showing him around the place. Everyone else just tags along. Ridge seems a little miffed that the twins don't even seem to notice him. Joey sizes up the situation and has a good laugh, at poor Ridge's expense. Its not long though, before the twins good upbringing reveals itself and they are putting everyone at ease and making them feel most welcome.
