Description
Please view full size, it's big and there are lots details! If you can find the two rats, then you've taken a real look!
Val gifted me the lovely and striking Mirthe last week. I think she looks smashing and I've seen her in a wide range of characters. Coming to RMP soon - I hope! Thank you Val, I think she makes a great elf.
And thank you Kimmo (Gizmee) for the great hints about setting the focal length of the camera for better perspective... it really helped here.
I did a lot of work in the material room on this one. I changed the textures on all the fire stands to look more polished and I created the unique leather outfit for Blood Bound using ParrotDolphin's Into Leather set.
"Mirthe was a skilled dragon hunter but Lexar had not survived a 1000 years lurking in the sacred temple for no good reason! He had turned the tables on many a dragon slayer before. Every generation of human had sent in their champion to rid the temple of this troublesome beast; and every champion had died trying. But this time maybe Mirthe's crow companions would make the difference as they sounded the alarm before he had his chance to strike!"

your works in a class of its own very gifted and great detail on every level from conception to finished image and on all levels its great to share this process and really makes me happy to bea ble to view work of this calibre just so glad to be able to call you my friend!!! awesome presentation Roxy!!
This is really exceptional work Roxy.!! Beautiful use of lights and pose. Bravo! seth
Cool pose and expression!
Plasmid, you've got a keen eye for photography. The sky is a separate layer but I think what you are detecting is the affect of adjusting the camera's focal length. Poser default is 50 mm like normal SLR. Here I used about 35 mm, like a wide angle, so the objects get greater depth of field. That's the Gizmee trick. I never gave it much thought until I got a 24" widescreen. All my big, wide images became flat. Gizmee pointed out that now I needed to adjust my focal length to better match the scene structure. And it works. Roxy
You've such a great imagination as you put a lot of thoughts in your work. And they turn out so perfectly beautiful like this one.
superb job roxy hon, sorry for the late reply, been on a three day ban. love the blending of all the cool props in this scene with your beauty..

Great looking render Roxy. I like all the details, and glad if my hints helped you. Thank you :)
true art with a heart
Once again, awesome lighting and textures. Love her "impractical" armor LOL! Like the "rat search" method to get people to Zoom up LOL, quite clever! (And yes I saw them both too LOL!) The use of plants as focal points / transition aids is wonderful - well done Roxy!

Pretty in green
Ach! I could only find the one rat! Gotta love everything about this picture. The composition, the posing, the expression, the colors, the textures, the lighting, are all incredible. Who knew one could create such crisp, detailed scenes in Poser? But dear Roxy, you go beyond mere technical excellence. With a single image and a bit of narrative, you tell a story that draws in the viewer and leaves them aching for more. This is brilliant work, my friend, the work of a true storyteller. The rest of us can only bang our heads against the wall in frustration, and then keep trying to catch up!
