Description
Shortly after I took the previous picture I proceeded north on highway 395 into Oregon. I drove past this old barn probably by 1/2 mile before I decided to turn around and take a picture. I guess it was the sagging roof.
Future pictures of this trip will be posted in chronological order, i.e. Alaska pictures are coming soon.
This picture was taken on 19 May 2009.
Thank you for viewing and commenting and any favs,

Pretty flat valley you went through. The barn sure is an eye catcher- no doubt I would have made it a photo stop as well. Excellent
Wonderful capture my friend.
Looks like it is ready to fall down. Pretty old alright. Nice shot Sig. Aloha
This is kind of place i like sooo beautiful and look very peaceful i wish im there right now...superb capture sig!!
Magnific scene Sig..well captured! love it :)
Once again the magical eye of Sig has found great setting and made it into a nice picture!
Spectacular example of how an old post and beam barn can go through horrendous partial structural failures and still stand. I'm not sure I'd want to go in and out of there often but that structure still can serve many purposes...particularly storage. Great shot...colors, etc.
very beautiful scene ..love the old barn :)
Great capture and looks like the barn was shoved off its base by several feet.
Great shot! It is amazing how long they last
Nice picture! The barn has been like that for a while, I'm sure. But Ma Nature has a way of using gravity to achieve her ends.
Great capture!!
