Description
Goose Lake straddles the California-Oregon border. It is about 40 miles long and 10 miles wide. The water level is low, and a large part at the southern end is dry. The wind was blowing up the dust which could be seen from a great distance.
The dust was the reason I had stopped earlier and saw the Sandhill Crane. Picture was taken from highway 395 on 19 May 2009.
