Description
Down to Earth for this one, though they spend much time on the ground, they are graceful in flight.. This one was in prime breeding colours,as I have rarely seen the blue of the eye or the wattles so bright.. Guess if you wear a crown you are entitled to show off a bit!

That is a cool looking critter. Love that blue eye. Nicely captured here Dan.
What a beauty!
It looks like it wants to walk out of the picture at me. Awesome bird and very clear :) Cathy xoxoxo
simple & elegant, the posture looks almost regal, and your detail in the neck & beautiful crown are scintillating. A genuine bird portrait, it's as if it came into a studio, paid you, and said, "make me look noble!" You capture birds beautifully, Danny.
Good depth of color!
