"Sheriff - I swear, it ain't me! I didn't do it!"
"You fit the description, a baby face! You sure look like a baby face to me!"
"It's cause I'm only 15 years old Sheriff, honest!"
"Likely story, what were you doin' out there when they started screamin', huh? I know you're the leader, why - I can smell it on ya'- and not only that, with your arms up like that, I can smell somethin' else on ya'! I should just jail you for stinkin'! A bank robber if ever I seen one! I got the poster on you just over there on my desk, oh it's you all right."
"Sheriff, I got to git home, my pa's gonna tan my hide for sure this time!"
"How come when the explosion set off and them horses started riding off, you come rushing out on one and fell off likin' to break your fool neck, huh?"
"'Cause I was some where I aught'nah been!"
"Where's that?"
"I can't say, else I'll be gettin' it for sure then!"
"Fine - sit there, one way or the other, I'll be gettin' what I need out'yah!"
"Okay, if I promise to tell'yah, will you promise to let me go?"
"Hmmm, let me think here...okay, it's a deal, where were you?"
"Well I was with this girl called Sally, and she said if'n her pa' found us together, he'd string me up by my hide, the mean sonofabitch! That's what she said, honest sheriff, I was with Sally."
"Describe this Sally." The sheriff, coaxed.
The lad was too nervous to notice his suspicion, only wishing to get home, he went on to describe her as, "She not quite tall as me, 'bout up to my chin, gots to stand on her tip-toes to kiss me. Why, she's got the purtiest cornsilk blonde hair you've ever seen, a beauty spot on left cheek, but to top it all, the strangest thing, she's got one brown eye and a'bluin'! Now ain't that somethin' sheriff!?"
"Oh it's somethin' alright, you stanky little, slippery slick, weasel! I should'ah known there was somethin' familiar about ya'stank! It's been lingering in my house for days!"
"Huh? What'cha talkin'bout Sheriff?"
"My daughter, that's what! Sally Ann Gibson! And you son, are in for life!" He then slammed the gaol door, adding as he walked away, "Oh, if you hear any hammering in the night, that's just me, building your gallows!"

LOL, thanks to all who visited and commented. I had fun working with these two new character textures given to me to test. The youngster is by HeRaZa - and the older gentlemen, the sheriff is Nathan M4 - given to me by PoserAddict to test. No doubt to be available there soon.
