Happy Birthday to America!
My home, sweet home!
Former President Bill Clinton said "There is nothing so wrong with America that cannot be cured by what is right with America". I'm holding on to this with all I can. I believe in America and the American spirit.
Today America is 232 years strong, a little banged up, but still standing despite Bush's destructive reign. On January 20th, Obama will begin our healing process in America and around the world, I have hope for this!
Ok OK, I'll get off my soapbox so I don't detract from the spirit of this 4th of July, the birthday of America, because I could turn this into a rant that would send the CIA straight to my house. Don't taze me Bro, LOL!!!!
Thank you for lookin and for any comments left! And, thank you for the wonderful comments and faves on my previous image!

Ruby I love this and I love your words to. You are truly something. Always, you tell it like it is and I love that!!!!! This is a wonderful happy birthday image to our country. Just perfect and so beautiful! Have a wonderful day!
you know.... we're gonna have to build you a bigger soapbox... your founding fathers had a great idea about that democracy thing... here's hoping that you'll get back to it after November. In the meantime.... have a great 4th, indulge in the fun, the music, the freedoms.
Excellent render!!

Marvelous made image Ruby!!! Happy 4th of July for you!!! Hugs Ute
Great work & Happy Birthday :)
Well done Ruby ... we live in an age wherein the Declaration of Independence, taking at face value, is considered by the "powers that be" to be most subversive. The two people running that would really bring about change, i.e., Cynthia McKinney or Ralph Nader will never be elected. Guess that leaves me with Obama. Hope he doesn't become another tool for the elite. Anyway, this image and message is superb!
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY YOUNG LADY..THIS IS AWESOME.
Yes, I can't wait to get rid of war-monger Bush either!!!! ....and let's all hope that Obama gets in and not another war lover !!!! Great pic, Ruby, and loved the soapbox rant :o)
Fantastic and creative allegory my friend.....!!!!
Happy Birthday, my friend!!!
