Description
This was taken at the Portland International Rose Test Garden. They don't call us the Rose City for nothing. :-)
I have no idea what this rose's name is. I'm not smart enough to take a picture of the name tags, too.
Thanks for stopping by and any comments.

Simply gorgeous red rose.
Incredible. I don't recall seeing any posts that captured the velvety texture the way this one does. So beautiful!!
I agree with Maria, amazing softness you can almost feel! Gorgeous DOF. This is the quintessential rose, I hope it smelled as good as it looked :)
Excellent.....but.....you missed a little bit of it. Bet you didn't know that, did you? It is definitely beautiful. It looks like mine. I don't know the name of mine either.
I love red roses, and the deeper the red, the better. Excellent capture, for a red (no less!). I can smell this one just looking at it!
The name is not important when the rose is this lovely. And of course, it is aided in its appearance by your tallent and skill. Really lovely shot.
Splendid!!!
Excellent Capture!!!
A must see at full size to appreciate the delicate textures in the petals of this beautiful rose. A lovely soft red which you have captured perfectly (not an easy thing to achieve in my limited experience LOL!) Excellent capture and such beauty requires no name!! Hugs Chrissy xx
