Description
I went to one of my favorite birding spots hoping to capture a bird I have been trying to get all year. I have to climb over this log to get to my bushy hiding place. This little "song sparrow" hopped down on the log and gave me this unusual and comical pose and seemed to be checking out the human intruder with very little fear. I have a side view of him that I'll post later. They have a delightful lilting and melodic song, much nicer than the average house sparrow. Thanks very kindly for your views and comments.

Fabulous capture of this fearless avian, checking out the human with the strange device in her hands. I've heard of and seen sparrows, they're all around my area, but never one of the "house" variety. In fact, unless it flew through the door by error and decided to stay, I can't conceive of a domesticated sparrow. They are really a hyper bird.

Well, You should guve me some lessons to picture a bird like this. The colors are marvellous and I like all the sharp details. My pictures seem too blured to me when I see yours :-) Hugs Virginie
