Description
I have been taking a break from Renderosity and the computer, to some degree, for the summer.
I have missed viewing, commenting, and posting here, but it's been good to do other things for a while.
But I have gotten a few bird shots from my own yard, and this is one of a hummingbird taking a good long stretch after visiting the feeder.
Thanks for looking, and I promise I'll get more active in a few weeks. Love the new changes here to the site!

There are other things???? Very good and unusual shot, Maria. It's so rare to see one of these guys stopped. I bet he didn't stay that way for long. Congratulations on catching him.

A totally stellar shot! I don't know how you got in so close but the detail and amusing pose is great.
Wonderful shot!
Stunning capture Maria! Bravo!
A rather good sharpness, a cute model, an original posture, even a nice blurred background, all that make this photo a true splendor !
You are so lucky to catch this guy with this extreme quality. Excellent... Perfect
Oh he/she is so cute. The focus isn't quite on the eye however the shot is detailed and gives an insight into the birds life.
A beautiful detailed piece of work!

I like this photo very much.
A super shot of these interesting little birds. First time I have ever seen a photo of one sitting still. We don't have them in NZ so appreciate your posting. Lovely details.
What a rare treat, to actually see a hummingbird virtually still like this. They fun to photograph, but can be tough subjects. You got a nice shot here, close and different. Excellent work.
What an extra-ordinary bird portrait... Thanks for sharing !
