Ken is an amazing artist, and has been a constant source of inspiration to me. His work always has a "Grand" feel to it. Some of his images are epic! If you haven't seen his work, take a look at his gallery:

Here we see some German soldiers taking a smoke break. They are about to be ambushed by some American paratroopers.
This is the most detailed image I have worked on to date. I am sure it is historically inaccurate, but I still like it.

You're not kidding about detailed... NICEly done. The swampy, puddly ground is a nice touch to the scene. Lighting feels alittle blue, but I think that's a Bryce thing. Good job and very nice tribute.
Thanks gang! Hmmm, can't seem to win? Some are saying it needs more atmospheric effect, others think it's too much? Sigh As I told Kort, I will play with those settings and see what I can do. For now, I am just glad to have completed it. Thanks everyone for the honest input! That's how I improve.
Wonderfuly detailed work of historical art here. What you've done here is historicaly correct down to every detail, not just in its vision of war but also growing up in NYC there were parts of the South Bronx during the 70's that looked a lot like a war zone becuse some political types refused to get up off the money and build or rebuild homes for the many displaced citizens. War is not just waged with bulits and bombs, but also too with economic, religion, & un-healthy laws that are designed to help the rich but not the poor. Thanks for this wonderful work of art and for turning us who are not alredy on to Kenwas. Beyond Excellence Please tell me more about the creative process used; was it all done in Bryce or did you use other softwares?

Etremely detailed, in fact! I guess it's a really hard work to create a scene of a demolished city... Probably harder than one of a city before destruction :) Great picture and it's good to remind people how war REALLY looks like. Have a great weekend!

Ah yes. As an Army veteran, American Legion member and meat eating, 2nd amendment embracing, red state neo con, I can always appreciate a nice battle scene. And it looks like you did a fine job on this well detailed image. The textures are fantastic, and the composition dramatic.

Yep, smoking's definitely bad for your health. Excellent image here - sooo detailed. The burned out buildings and debris in the streets are all so authentic. War's a dirty business and you've really captured it well!!
Excellent job! Reminds me of all the hours I've spent playing Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. That is if we could get an organized team that would take orders. lol!
