Ken is an amazing artist, and has been a constant source of inspiration to me. His work always has a "Grand" feel to it. Some of his images are epic! If you haven't seen his work, take a look at his gallery:

Here we see some German soldiers taking a smoke break. They are about to be ambushed by some American paratroopers.
This is the most detailed image I have worked on to date. I am sure it is historically inaccurate, but I still like it.

I am honored Eric. It is an impressive piece of work. The detail and scaling are spot on and I particularly favor the tank and the group of men around it on the streets where the water mains have obviously seen better days. Thank you and all the best to you.
Is this the motorized Tamiya Panzer model, with to scale crew and other soldiers and ruins? GREAT TABLEAU, and GREAT SCALE MODEL--with first class painting! And also very informative--I didn't know the Americans were using Panzers in Iraq....
Fabulous detail here. Not sure if it's historically accurate but really you could spend ages reserching this theme for a damaged authentic road sign or faded poster, for example. You seem to be able to turn your hand to anything :-)

Great work, I like the 'fly on the wall' type of feel your POV gives this image. If Ken was inspirational then for you then he has done a good job, this peice does him proud, great tribute. 1 Question...has the PC gone into meltdown after this one? Jenny /:o}

Looks like something towards the end of the war, and very credible. Good posing, composition and detailing, yes you used good figures and props, but you used them well.
Nicely done, highly detailed, great viewpoint . . . these and the overall visual impact means your image makes a excellent art render!
