Description
As those who've seen my work probably know, I love Zebra's!
I am also a big fan of black and white art/photography.
This shot was taken at the Minnesota Zoo, I did remove the color and resize/sharpen the image.

A black animal with white stripes? Or a white animal with black stripes? I can see why you like them, Eric. They're like living op-art :-) A good decision to get rid of the colour and make it high contrast. It plays tricks with the eyes so it seems almost animated! (I swear I saw the middle one's tail twitch...)
My eye doctor would Love you! This is a good one to test monitors. lol! Cool shot of them grazing. Their markings are striking - almost like a tiger's.
Oooh! Gorgeous photo Eric! Zebras are so beautiful and they cant be easy photographing in B&W. But you sure got the perfect tonal range for it to keep em from blending in with the background. Excellent job! #:o)

Yes, it seems apparent that you are fond of zebras. I think your use of b&w in this shot is a perfect idea. Very cool animals, and gooood eatin' too!

Quick, call the warden...the four-legged convicts just escaped....looking at all those strips is like one of those optical illusions where everything starts spinning...nice work in desaturating and sharpening..

Really good B&W. The stripes make a sharp contrast against the suffused, overexposed look of the grass.
