This is an image I wasn't going to post because of the high "Cheese" factor! ; )
But we just watched the 2005 remake of Carpenters "The Fog"
The new one was ok, but prefer the "Dated" and "Cheesy" original.
Hope nobody has a quintessential Monday..

Nothing is ever as good as the original, especially the older, cheesey ones. Terrific image, not only is the fog great but you can see their red beady eyes.
Not long ago I saw them both, back to back and I must say, both of them rate high on the cheese factor. Gotta love them cheesey SciFi fliks. Zappa wrote a song - "Cheapness". I think my all ime fave was Dr. Who with Tom Baker. Your image here? Well . . . Moo hoo hoo hwaa ha ha haaa! (cool)

I have always felt a fear of traveling into fog by ship to the unknown but sign me up for this cruise!!super atmosphere
As far as cheese goes this is well done. Great work on the fog and water!
Haven't seen the remake of the Fog yet. Cool image though. Something a bit eerie about the faces on those people. V

Gleat thumb! Seen a rot of flog but not John Calpentel's "The Flog", is it? "Escape from New Flog" first crass (on any rever), "Big Tlouble in Ritter China" bettel than filst crass.
Wow, very cool and love those red eyes. I like both versions of the movie - cheesy horror flicks are often quite cool!

I remember seeing the first on as a kid and boy was it frightening. Now I'd probably laugh at both versions. I think they should make a movie out of a real horrific story featuring another infamous fog, Stephen King's The Mist. Now that would be cool to see! Awesome scene!

Hmm... haven't seen either Fog, and surprisingly I haven't read King's Mist. Must've been in the 15% of his stuff I never got around to reading. lol. Anyway, I like the render. It's very creepy and green. nod

Love it, whatever it's cheese content level! Glowing green mist and red eyes have to be two of my favorite things -- not just raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens. ;]

Hi Digi--did not see the remake--nice lettering on this and thumbnail too. Didn't Carpenter do Prince Of Darkness too? Now there's one brilliant/imaginative and at times funny flick!--Oh yeah--it is strange and scary also...

Now I think, I know what big words mean, but,.....just a minute still looking it up......have heard this word often, but I really am curious of it's meaning, origin........got it: from the midievel english originally. Quintessence or the essence of the fifth element that formed the universe(like in the movie, The Fifth Element, starring Bruce Willis). Quintessential; the pure concentrated essence of anything. Hmmmmm, Monday always bad....so culminating all that is Monday would not be all good?....!!!! Oh, why thank you, Digimon! My Mondays are hardly ever, quintessential.
