I believe so, we all have probably been blocked, I was wondering if it was just me 🤣Morning all. Nice posts again :)
Does anyone here know if the IGNORE function (that I only just found) works both ways? As in, if someone has blocked me, they can't see my posts either?
there is a user who used to troll the Carrara users I blocked a few years ago and I didn't see their posts or rather I didn't until Renderosity banned him
I have confimration that it works both ways. If they ignore us, they can't see our posts either. There are a couple of AI bashers in the other AI thread that have done that.Way back I blocked someone and never saw a post from them until they changed their user name I just blocked that one too so yeah I think that's the way it works.
Gill
As I've seen you posting stuff in "the other thread" as well, you probably know the ones I'm referring to. Couldn't care a jot TBH other than that I've never done anything against them, but as long as it's a 2-way street....I won't lose any sleep over it ;)gillbrooks posted at 5:32 AM Tue, 24 January 2023 - #4454538

having a different opinion or simply using ai seems to be the reason
I am actually still on the fence about ai and expressed that so I think it might simply be the latter considering opinions expressed in another forum here

some genesis 9 ai eyeballs
Been trying to capture the fierceness of Katheryn Winnick as a Viking Shield Maiden in the series Vikings, not much luck
Tried Blend for a few Stills from the series, blend works OK but you end up cropping because for some reason the aspect ratio of the image is different?!?

some ai balls you can size to any character in Photoshop, layered image editor, gimp etc
or use to generate your own,

I found something fun that everybody might want to mess around with. It's a free prompt generator which will probably help out when you're running low on ideas or inspiration. Here's the link:
https://huggingface.co/spaces/Gustavosta/MagicPrompt-Stable-Diffusion
It says it's for Stable Diffusion but I'm sure with a few tweaks it'll work with Midjourney as well. All you have to do it type in a couple of words to start it off then hit the "Submit" button. Here are four prompts it gave me when I tried it out:
a scene of colorful anime village, wide angle, super highly detailed, professional digital painting, artstation, concept art, smooth, sharp focus, no blur, no dof, extreme illustration, unreal engine 5, photorealism, hd quality, 8 k resolution, cinema 4 d, 3 d, beautiful, cinematic, art by artgerm and greg rutkowski and alphonse mucha and loish and wlop
a scene of futuristic studious full - body humanoid robots with intricate glowing led eyes sit on large midcentury recliners facing off in an intense game of checkers. cinematic movie photograph, cinematic lighting, arri alexa, extremely detailed, smooth, very very clean, 8 k, octane render, maya render, unreal engine, trending on artstation, dslr
a scene of futuristic studious full - body humanoid robots with huge glowing led eyes sit on large midcentury recliners facing off in an intense game of checkers. cinematic movie photograph, cinematic lighting, arri alexa, extremely detailed, smooth, very very clean, 8 k, octane render, maya render, unreal engine, trending on artstation, dslr
a scene of chaos in space, octane render, artstation - zbrush, by james gurney concept art by tooth wu beeple
I tried "a dragon". The last one gave the a prompt that included the-name-that-shall-not-be-mentioned hahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Also who is Alphonse Mucha? S'pose I'll have to go Google that :)
a dragon in the middle of new york, intricate, elegant, highly detailed, digital painting, artstation, concept art, smooth, sharp focus, illustration, art by artgerm, greg rutkowski, alphonse mucha
a dragon, 4 k, art station concept, highly detailed
a dragon, by alphons mucha
a dragon, fantasy, sharp focus, intricate, elegant, digital painting, artstation, matte, highly detailed, concept art, illustration, ambient lighting, art by ilya kuvshinov, artgerm, alphonse mucha, and greg rutkowski

Deja vu all over again...Did a series a ways back I called Water Dancers did a different prompt and got these, very similar to the Water Dancers. Think Mid-J over time assumes too much about your personal style and uses it too much, seen it in other instances too.

Have you tried any of the prompts Gill? Here are the ones that I mentioned that were generated for me.Just noticed that he-who....is in the first prompt as well.
As for the other guy, probably better using "art nouveau" style instead

I like the first one and the third one the best but the others are okay as well. Yeah, I know what you mean about the person "who shall not be named." :o)
Leonard: Love the Water Dancers. Super images. Yes, I think all of them (ai) learn what each of us likes and inputs that unless we really vary it. That's why I never keep something really bad as I don't want it to think I like that. For instance those that keep badly deforned faces and limbs/etc keep getting those. AI is being trained....maybe so are we. lol

OK, but I prefer my idea of an art nouveau dragon AND I got all 4 dragons in mine :)

That was the only one I tried. I ran "A watercolour painting of" and the results were so unconnected and disjointed, I didn't bother. I think in this instance, I'll carry on using my own imagination rather than hugging face's :D

Very nice dragons. Yeah, I still think the prompt utility could come in handy if you want to try something different. Those four images I posted are styles that I wouldn't usually try.Kenmac posted at 11:23 AM Wed, 25 January 2023 - #4454602

Anybody know how NOT to get certain actors to show up when you prompt characters? Because I keep getting The Cumber Buns at least 8 times out of 10 whenever I prompt for Sherlock Holmes. At first I thought it was because I wasn't using character's full name but it seems to make very little difference, he still shows up most of the time. One would think that entering his name as a negative prompt would eliminate him from the render pool. Alas, the results ranged from ugly to downright bizarre.
Also, I keep telling SD no hats on Mr. Holmes. It still gives me hats. Weird ones. Usually on the pix I like best:

This is what Midge gave meWill see what that gets. Have you also been able to put Watson & Holmes in the same render? Stable Diffusion does not seem to know how to not make two characters look identical or very closely related. But you're using MidJourney, right? Any better for multi-figure scenes?
"victorian sherlock holmes and dr. watson"

Gill
I got a bunch of'em including a full back Harley Bar and shield, didn't really find the process all that painful, expensive yeah painful no.I can't imagine getting a tattoo like these. Great tolerance for pain. lol I got a very small one a long time ago and it wasn't fun. At any rate these are very nice.

Yeah, I thought some of Gill's looked a bit like him even though she didn't name him in her prompt. Too bad SD can't blend -- well at least the one I'm using doesn't seem to be able to. Would like to make a Sherlock that has features from a couple different actors. And it does not look as if I can upgrade unless I also buy a beefier graphics card. Which is waaaay outta the question for at least another year, if not longer. The app I'm using does have a newer version and I installed it only to find out it won't properly run on a measly 6gb GTX card. Have to turn off most of the features one actually needs just to keep it from crashing and even then it takes forever to get anything out of. Got a few hundred NightCafe credits, though, so maybe I'll play around there and see what gives.
I can't run any on my local mc. But, I like that with Midge, I can leave some stuff "cooking" after I've shut down and it's all done next morning. The only big ram I need is for upscales which I tend to do when I'm off doing other mundane stuff away from pc. I gave up on Night Cafe. Never got anything halfway decent.
Can you do image prompts? Maybe find a pic of the kind of sherlock/watson you want and use that?

Hmm...well I don't know about SD, Mid-J is an online AI and it, as far as I know, uses online GPU rendering which would mean your Graphics Card isn, even part of the rendering process. I've monitored my GFX unit and it just sits there Idle during Mid-J rendering, I only have a 4gig AMD Radeon RX 570 GFX Card and have no problem.

Len - I tried 'Water Spirit' and 'Water Nymph' in my water elemental search, with mixed results, but not 'Water Dancer'. That added the extra touch I was looking for, thanks. High five to Zo, scooby snack treats on the house tonight... ;)

Life stuff keeping me busy, some ups and some downs, you know how it goes. At least I always have prompt ideas going in the back of my mind, lol... ;)
