Description
Actually, it's more of a lonesome station waiting for the throngs of commuters.
Laurel Station, Laurel, MD. It's on the list of historic buildings. Light postwork. Mostly to remove utility wires. Tried to erase the shadow on the platform, but then it was ... empty and even sadder. Farther up the track is a really lonesome station. It's for the racetrack. Last time I saw it, it was in bad repair. However, decrepit buildings have a certain charm. When they open the road to the racecourse, I will have to see if it's still there. Until then, we will have to look for the charm in buildings in better repair! ;-D
Enjoy; thanks for viewing.

cool capture of days gone by... i'm sure that place was bustling once
Actually it is now a MARC station: commuter traffic. Believe me, it bustles morning and evening.
What a crisp clear shot. Not a soul in sight, and would be good to have one with all the bodies bustling around too!
Dear TW, another very pretty photograph - and one that does haunt me. I really like trains, but I fear they are a dying breed. I assume from the newspaper machines that this station is still in use. So many today are gone or are going. That's sad. Excellent work! Love, Meredith
