Description
So did a lot of other people.
This is Montpelier Mansion south of Laurel, MD. It was on the main Baltimore--Richmond route and often acted as a 'highway hotel' for travellers.
A very nice pile of red brick. We skipped the tour today, but will be seeing more of this building inside and out... I am sure.
Enjoy; thanks for viewing.

Fantastic photo...!!!!
Nice shot Jo. Well done!!!
Dear TW, that is a beautiful shot of a beautiful old Georgian mansion! Truly gorgeous with the rich saturated colors and - Oh My Gosh! I've been looking through the trees on each side - that's the border you added! It felt so perfectly natural with the rest, that I hadn't really looked at it! That's amazing! If you cropped off the top and bottom borders and just left the side, I don't know how long - if ever - I'd have noticed that it wasnt' part of the photo. Really well done! Excellent work! Love, Meredith
It looks like it would be a wonderful Bed and Breakfast to stay in.. great capture
