Description
Furnace Inn is a facility in the Patapsco State Park which meanders all over the place. IIRC it is leased to the folks running it while the building belongs to the park. Regardless, it's a stunning bit of brickwork on a back road to nowhere. The actual site of the actual furnace is not far from this location, but there are no markers, etc. for it... long gone I suppose.

The thumbnail is a historical marker in town. It tells some interesting local color history and was worth, IMO, posting, but not worth taking up a whole post by itself. Thus The Weese cleverly uses a related thumbnail for a non-related, really, image. You, my dear viewers, at no extra cost get a toofer!! ;-D Enjoy; thanks for viewing.

Dear TW, A most inviting scene. It reminds of a bed and breakfast I stayed at in Maine a while back. The shadows are very dramatic over the brickwork and really create a sense of depth for th entire scene. Excellent Work! Love, Meredith
