Description
Another Wings creation. I'm on a pilgrimage. I'm recreating some things I've always liked. This one harkens back to the works of a 19th-century collection I have been unable to find since two moves ago. This photographer did the most amazing and serene photos of what then was the virtually untouched orient. His images were clear as a bell and, of course, monochrome.
For those of you who are superstitious, the top of this pagoda is not an actual floor, just a crowning cornice. Therefore, there are only seven floors; eight would be considered unlucky.
I'm fairly new, so, if you haven't checked out my other recent images, I'd be most appreciative if you would view those, too. All comments more appreciated than you know.

ysvry: I'm only allowed one upload, so it'll have to be tomorrow or the next day, but I'll put up the original, color version, too. Thanks, all, for the encouraging comments so far.

A beauty!Excellently done!!!
Wonderful chromatic tonality and POV.
for some reason i like this one better, i guess i'm just a sucker for sepia toned images!!! great work!! ;o)
EngleWolf, I like this one better, too. This was what I had envisioned from the picture's conception. I'm happy to hear my monochrome fixation is not one of a kind.
I love monochrome artwork too! This pagoda reminds me of my travels in the Far East. Excellent work.
Solid work and the grey tones again really work for me here!
I am enjoying both images but am drawn to this one a wee bit more...lovely....
