Just a click time stands still
A person frozen fast
Never more to move at will
A glance to cast~
A lovely face it will not age
No wrinkles to gain
Eyes no one will ever gauge
Their joy or pain~
A memory A loved one lost
Because time takes it toll
How insignificant the cost
To freeze a soul~
A photograph, clear and true
Brings memories sublime
Of lifelong love and how it grew
Not dimmed by time~

...woooooooooooooow Susan this is beautiful and oh so true...i have always stayed away from cams of n e kind..lol but ur right ii still look at the younger images of my sons and i smile..they ask "Mom where r ur pics?"..i say "in ur heart and head!...i know event i will have my pic taken again, but not as i am right now!...this was written so descriptively and heartfelt!...u defnitely posess that ability thayt other poets such as myself , strive to accomplish one day in my writings!!..hope ur feelin better...Hugs love and God Bless to u and ur loved ones!..i did post again.take a look when ya can!...Laura:0)))))

Wonderful words that are so true. It is amazing how a photograph can freeze a moment in time. It will make that one moment and all of it's emotional ties captured and forever become a gateway to the past. You said it perfectly here...
