Description
One of my favorite things I've done, especially the sword and the family bible...but, the message is whats important, not my abilities to create something I think is okay or I get kudos for. It should be embedded in out hearts....God Bless you...

"our" not out.
Great words and a super piece of artwork!!
I think you did an awsome job of putting the word out in this image ,The cool look to the image draws the person in to read hid work .You have achived what you have set out for .Stunning piece .God Bless you
I've always loved the fact that when the various pieces of the the "full armor of God" are described in Ephesians, all of them are basically defensive... except the Sword of the Spirit. With our actions and preparations, we are to be ready and shielded, but the power to actively defeat the enemy rests in the Holy Spirit, not in human effort. A sword must be drawn, and that action is our prayer for God's power in our lives. Darkness and evil tremble and shatter at the Word of God -- the Word that is the Spirit and the Sword -- the Word that became flesh.
Well done, faithful servant.... Excellent....PEACE.
Superb work Steve. The sword the Roman soldiers of Paul's day most often used was a piercing two edged sword. For piercing (i.e. the darkness with light) more than hacking (being shaped like a tongue in fact). Two edgedness is appropriate in that the piercing vanquishes darkness that is acquired interiorly, or as you quoted; 'of this world' and 'spiritual wickedness in high places'...smiles but you already knew this!
