Description
As the old saying goes, I don't know what the future holds, but I know who holds the future. Just a simplistic piece I did today...feelin pretty rough...but I look good..hahaha. Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out with slick tires, and shouting loudly, WOW, what a ride Lord, take me home!" Peace be with you....

I know people well like this That believe in mediums and tarot cards and such,How Sad, Pray for them.
I'm with you, Steve. And there are only two sources of information about the future: God, and not-God. When you look elsewhere than the loving, pure, truthful, omniscient God for insight about where things are going, you're guaranteed to be led to disaster. Shakespeare outlines this brilliantly in "Macbeth", where fortunetellers tell "half-truths", lies with just enough truth mixed into in them to persuade men into murder, greed, mayhem and self-destruction. People want to know the future for the sake of control and power over their own destiny. But a wise man knows that grasping for control and power over their life is a failure to trust God-- in whom all power ultimately resides. Furthermore, an omniscient God is the only trustworthy one to hold such power, since anyone less would abuse it -- intentionally or not. God witholds information about the future for our own protection and because He has things to teach us that need to unfold in His timing, not our choosing. His timing is perfect, and His desires for us are for our own good. Palm Readers, Astrologers, Mediums, Witches ... all are charlatans or worse, unwitting tools of supernatural evil. Don't let your fantasies and desires snare you into turning to false sources of power and knowledge.
Steve .... I'll leave it up to your better half as to 'how good ya' look'! .... wink! .... but, as usual, you hit the proverbial 'nail on the head', my good man .... PEACE to you and yours .... brian.
