I do love that texture - very reminiscent of marks and stains in old photos, so it gives this an aged feel, as though its been around for a very long time. When you set this against the concept of "emerging" it is intriguing and fascinating.

It was an ad in some magazine that I scanned, so I don't know who she is.
This makes me think of a contemporary preraphaelite, beautiful use of colour & composition.
Anyway, you did her a greate favore to touch her image with your magic brush! Very few people nowadays know how and want to do this kind of real gold old painters portraits... I only wish to... :-)
