Most people see the human psyche as some kind of swimming pool, and they start cleaning it by stirring the water untill the dirt from the bottom comes to the surface, and they can take it away. That's the psychoanalytic/scientific/antiseptic point of view. Mine is that it rather resembles a lake. The dirt on the bottom is completely natural, and it even serves as food for the wondrous life forms that live in the lake. Not only this cannot be cleansed, but even worse: stirring it up only makes the water dirty, muddy and less transparant, which is a threat for the life in the lake. Therefore: stop analysing yourselves, stop getting depressed by trying to remove old thoughts and emotions by calling them up and up again. It justs makes your lifes muddy and you become drained of energy and prone to a lack of mental oxygen. Just do what feels good and ok, and stop trying to be whom you were or should have been. Life's a cosmic dance, not a military parade! :)
