This time traveler better do a quick U turn and go back to his time machine and quickly head off into another time frame as this knight just may think of him as using witchcraft and use that sharp sword on him.
The medieval era was brutal and its not necessarily a time frame I want to travel back to personally...how about taking this time machine back to the 1980's, all he will need is a pastel colored jacket with white pants and a matching tank top and soon he will blend in well in a "Miami Vice TV show" kind of way with the "Crocket" character portrayed by Don Johnson! :)
It’s pretty obvious that this knight certainly won’t take him for a nice, God-fearing fellow. So, turning back would be a good idea. And I’d be up for a trip back to the 80s, too—even if I might run into my younger self and laugh at the sight. I was young back then, and Miami Vice was all the rage. Naturally, that meant I had to wear white trousers, a white blouson jacket, and a mint-green T-shirt. Heavens, I’m so glad I don’t have any photos of myself from that era! laughs
I might actually catch up, today! (Drumroll! Trumpets! Ok, I'll shut up...) Yeah I agree with you and Johnny: having your time machine drop you off in the Middle Ages might not be quiiiiiiiite the right choice. The guy 'waiting'? He's not exactly dressed for a cappuccino (with friends) (or even alone)...If that's his casual wear, man, he's gotta be a rough tour guide...
I love the juxtapostion of that old time machine---right out of the late 1800s or thereabouts---and that medieval church, huts, and Mr. Congeniality. The traveler is right out of the late 1800s (that's a long coat!), and he better wake up 'cause that other guy's not likely to invite him in for some cognac. Another sly, witty and always well done image from you. (And whoever mowed that grass ha a fixation with angles!)
Laughs Thanks, Mark. Yeah, I don't think the two of them are about to sit down for a casual drink together. The guy in the chainmail looks more like the type who thinks pureed body parts on bread are always a good idea. And the lawn—well, it's grass I created in Bryce using a repurposed tree to save on polygons. It doesn't look quite as nice that way, admittedly, but it's a quick, memory-efficient solution.
