Palpable sense of depth provided by the very distant mountain shrouded in haze and wonderful use of light combine to make this yet another notable contribution. The hot air balloons drifting dreamily into the distance ain’t half bad either.

Strangely, I wasn't scared riding a flimsy biplane, but I'd be too scared to ride a balloon.
I've never been up in a hot-air balloon, but I imagine it would be amazing—and definitely quieter than a biplane :D

deserves zooming...very tranquil, and a beautiful landscape below. Some comments here about flying in a balloon---I've been in a couple, and it's so smooth and beautiful; but you can't help feeling this thing isn't safe! I kept thinking, one little jab, and this baby's going down! I realize theyre strong, but still. You caught an early time of day, and the light is quite mysterious and beautiful. A beautiful image.

I think it's the fear of losing control ... and watching the wind slowly blowing you straight into something like a million-volt power line ;-)
The only thing to do is hit the gas and take off—or get grilled. :D
