Yay! I can move onto the next one!
As the Buick Wildcat is going to be the car belonging to one of the central characters in my first webcomic I went crazy on the rig for this one. The basics are the steering and wheels, the ground sensing suspension and the ability to rock the car on its springs when accelerating or braking and allowing sway when cornering. You don't have to use those to extremes, but they are there.
Then there are the bells and whistles; check boxes for the lights and the soft-top, and sliders for the speedometer pointer and the hands on the dashboard clock. The trunk, bonnet and doors open and I can even wind the windows down.

It looks amazing!
Thank you, I must say a lot of that is the modelling, which I didn't do. Setting it up in Blender from the .obj was not too tricky as I have now set up quite a few motor vehicles in Blender.
Looks great with the soft top up and the night shot is excellent, too. :-)
I love the test renders with the lights myself, all part of that childlike love of pretty lights that most of us still carry as adults. Thanks for the visit.

I've dropped a few car .obj-s into Poser, and played in the material room and got some pretty decent results in the past. I'd like to do more playing someday if things here ever settle..
