Description

Here is Hercule Poirot, the Belgian detective created by Agatha Christie. I hope the character looks like the actor who inspired it and who really IS Hercule Poirot. I was unable to find a 3D model of the brooch on Poirot's costume and I modelled it in Hexagon and Blender. Not the flowers, though (red carnations) "hacked" from an existing model. I also modelled the two frames. The big one displays a painting by Paul Nash (A Rainy Day, 1922) and the small one shows a one guinea bank check given to Poirot by Mrs.Todd in the short story The Adventure of the Clapham Cook, (1923). Poirot hanged that frame in his apartment... :) I dedicate this render to my mom, who passed away on February 14th, 2026, aged 84, who was a fan of the TV series with Sir David Suchet.
