Description
Here's the Ash-throated Flycatcher included in my just released, Characters v4; the Ash-throated Flycatcher.
The Ash-throated Flycatchers range is the western United States, throughout all of Mexico and northwestern Central America. I regularly see it in my yard.
It breeds in desert scrub, riparian forests, brush-filled pastures and open woodlands from the western United States to central Mexico.
They are tolerant of high temperatures and do not need to drink water. They get their water from the insects they devour.
